About the Bride

Jennifer was born just outside of Houston, TX. She is the daughter of Paul and Cindy Heath, and she has a younger sister named Lindsey. Jennifer moved to Tennessee with her parents before the age of 2. She grew up in Sumner County, graduating from Gallatin High School in 2002. She pursued music as hobby from middle school, all the way through college, playing the flute. Jennifer had gotten accepted to Cumberland University with a band scholarship. Even though music was a big part of her life, she had wanted to be a teacher since the age of 4. She studied and received her degree in elementary education. Throughout college, Jennifer became part of Campus Crusade for Christ and Baptist Collegiate Ministry. Through those organizations, Jennifer was able to embark on some incredible mission trips to Florida, New Orleans, North Carolina, and Germany, thriving off learning about other languages and culture as well as spreading the Gospel. Her walk with Christ had continued to grow stronger through her collegiate experience, witnessing to fellow students. Jennifer had considered becoming a full-time missionary after graduating, depending if it was God’s will at the time. After receiving her degree in May 2008, Jennifer’s 20 year dream came true. In August of 2008, she was hired for her first teaching job at Knox Doss Middle School, teaching 6th grade math and science. After a long and crazy year as a first year teacher, she was recently informed that she is rehired for the new middle school (Knox Doss at Drakes Creek) in the next school year, teaching 6th grade math. Jennifer is hoping for an opportunity to be able to teach across seas at least for a year. Even though Jennifer is pursuing her dream as a teacher, she is still ready to be a missionary when God calls her.
